Born from a life of

Marcel came from a life spent seeking out flavours that don’t travel — things that exist only where they are made, in places most people never reach.

There are flavours that exist only in one place. A spice used in one region, found nowhere else. Things that don’t survive export, don’t survive the journey out.

Spending years working across oceans and continents — in remote places, in conditions most people never encounter — creates a particular kind of obsession. Not with collecting experiences. With understanding why certain flavours are so specific, and what it would take to bring that precision into a bottle.

Marcel is the answer to that question.

Marcel is distilled in Zürich at a distillery known for craft and precision. The brief was exact: a marzipan-forward spirit at 32° — strong enough to anchor a serious cocktail, focused enough to drink neat. Not sweet. Not sticky. Clean.

The result took four international gold awards in its first two years.
